Based in Massachusetts, ZYG 808 works with individuals, organizations, and institutions to deliver flexible, high-quality arts education in both performance and audio production.

Private Lessons

ZYG 808 offers private, one-on-one instruction tailored to each student’s goals and experience level.

Instruction is available in:

  • Drums

  • Percussion

  • Music production

Drum and percussion lessons are conducted in the student’s home or practice studio, providing a comfortable and familiar learning environment. Music production lessons are conducted at Polyphonic Studios in East Wareham, Massachusetts, where students gain hands-on experience in a professional recording studio.

Small Group Sessions

Small group sessions are available for students who benefit from collaborative learning environments. These sessions support shared skill development, rhythmic awareness, ensemble communication, and introductory production concepts. Group instruction can be customized for youth programs, community arts initiatives, and independent artist collectives.

Workshops

ZYG 808 offers workshops typically structured as 4–8 sessions, designed to introduce participants to focused musical or production topics. Workshop content may include rhythm and percussion fundamentals, introductory music production for DIY artists, creative process development, and performance readiness. Workshops are commonly booked by schools, academies, community centers, and community arts programs.

Residencies

For deeper engagement, ZYG 808 offers extended residencies ranging from 9–36 sessions. Residencies allow participants to build skills progressively while developing original work, recorded material, or performance-based outcomes. Residencies are generally booked by schools, arts academies, colleges and universities, community centers, and community arts organizations.
